Independant LOLER Inspection

Thorough Inspections for Tree Climbing and Rigging Equipment.

Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998

To comply with current Working at Heights Regulations 2005, any equipment used for either life support (PPE), or in rigging operations must be thoroughly inspected by a LOLER competent person.

For items of PPE this inspection must be carried out every 6 months. For items used for rigging the inspection should be carried out every 12 months .

By keeping your LOLER inspections up to date you ensure the kit you’re using is safe for use and your insurance cover is valid.

All items submitted for inspection should have a unique I.D number clearly marked on it, so it can be traced through its working life. Any items condemned must be taken out of service immediately and disposed of.
